This motor of the 12mm Gearmotor series is of middle power, very robust and suitable for the most demanding robots. It works with a 6V supply voltage and has a 100: 1 reduction gear. It also has an integrated encoder to monitor the rotation of the motor. The encoder delivers 12 pulses per motor turn, which means it takes for each turn of the output shaft. The motor is bolted very robustly with M3 screws. It includes a convenient connector with the connections of both the motor and the encoder.

The case is primarily made up of spur gears, but features helical gears for the first stage to reduce noise and improve efficiency. These units have a 4.4mm long, 3mm diameter D-shaped output shaft.
